Folder List Doesn't Match File List

Never had this happen before. This is the left and right side of a lister, folders on the left and file details on the right, but they don't agree. See pics.

I expanded and contracted the Evaluating folder on the left side several times but it still doesn't seem to pick up the missing folders at the beginning of the alphabet.

This is a drive that's shared from my desktop to my laptop although I've never had this problem before.

Any thoughts?

Sorry forgot to include the version info

Directory Opus Pro 10.5.7.0 (5215) x64
OS 6.1 (B:7601 P:2 T:1) SP 1.0 "Service Pack 1"

Is it still like that if you use File > Exit Directory Opus, then restart?

What does the tree in Explorer show?

Are those normal folders?

Are they on a local drive?

If they are on a network drive, is it an OS X one? (There is an issue with some versions of OS X where folder enumeration is broken on network shares.)

When I went back to it the opus display it was clocking and I wasn't able to get to exit so instead I went to Task Manager and stopped both dopus and dopusrt. Now it seems fine. I tried several times to get it to reoccur with no success. At this point I guess I'll just keep an eye out in case it happens again.

They are all normal folders and both the laptop and the desktop are Win7x64. This has been setup like this for a long time and I've never seen anything similar on any drive. I don't see any problems in explorer.

I was accessing the share from my laptop. The drive itself is a hard drive attached directly to the sata cable inside the desktop. In fact it is the primary internal drive (the one with the OS on it).

There still seems to be some kind of disconnect from the File Folder Tree to the File Lister.

Today on a networked drive I was moving some folders and files around. One of the operations was to move a sub-folder up a level. Move of course seems fine but several minutes later it's still not registering on the Folder Tree Side. This was a drag-n-drop operation so no scripts involved.

I had to physically click out of the parent folder to some other folder and click back on the parent folder to get the Folder Tree to update. This seems to recur from time to time but I can't recreate it at will.

It just happened again. Only this time I was moving from the left pane file list to the right pane Folder Tree Directory. But it didn't update that it had moved the file on the left file lister pane so it appears to still be where it was.

I thought maybe I fat finger the move or something so I tried again only to get

so then I opened the right pane lister to verify the file was indeed moved and it's definately there but still after a second and 3rd attempt to move i,t just so I could get a copy of the error, it still appears to be on the left file lister. It was a local file I was moving to a network location.

That may mean the drive isn't sending change notifications reliably.

You can use the toolbar's refresh button or F5 (assuming they run the usual Go REFRESH=source) to refresh the tree if it gets out of sync.

(You can also use Go REFRESH=tree to refresh just the tree, and not the file display, if you want that.)

Go REBUILDTREE can also be used for a more comprehensive refresh, equivalent to closing and re-opening the tree so the whole thing is built from scratch.
