folder name to .zip
eg
so contents of eath folder is in own folder name .zip

folder name : AbandonedPlaces to AbandonedPlaces.zip
" " BabaYaga to BabaYaga.zip
and so on

i have over 5000 folders to do

Archive Files > Files to Separate Archives on the default toolbars.

If you are not using the defaults, the command is: Copy ARCHIVE=single HERE

thank you that did the trick ... i did not see pull down menu ... talking of menu is there a way to make menu fonts/menus bigger. can't find it under Customize

Customize > Toolbars: lets you change the font size for each toolbar/menu.

Preferences / Display / Colors and Fonts: lets you change most other font sizes.
