Have you tried with all scripts removed in case it's an interaction with one of them?
The DMPs give us a place to look in more detail if needed, but we'll probably need to make a special test version with some extra debugging to work out exactly what's going wrong, if the scripts angle doesn't narrow it down any further.
No, I haven’t tried running it without scripts. I’d be surprised if they were involved, but I’ll give it a try.
It doesn’t happen all the time here either.
Over the past month or so, I’ve noticed occasional delays - for example, when moving small files into subfolders. Sometimes, it takes 10-15 seconds, almost as if a powered-down HDD were involved, but it’s actually the system SSD. There are no "Reading folder..." messages, and I haven’t been able to capture a memory dump.
It could very well be a Windows issue. Last year, I installed 24H2 when the Insider Preview became available, so some remnants might be causing these problems.
I hoped you could easily find something in the dumps pointing to the root cause. Overall, it’s not a major issue - just a bit annoying - and probably not worth spending too much time on.
Maybe this is a good reason to start fresh with a clean Windows installation. If the delays return, we can investigate further.
