Folder options not saving anymore

I have this folder that I wish to always display as large icons. I've opened the Folder Options dialog and set "View As" to "Large Icons" then selected "Save - For This Folder".

Since the last update, this feature no longer works. This the folder settings are not remembered. The folder is always displayed with the current diplay setting. What can I do to troubleshoot this problem?

I am running version 10.5.7.0.

Check that the format lock (padlock icon in the status bar) is unlocked.

Ahh thank you!! That's the problem. A feature not a bug! I was suspicious it might be user error, thanks.
