I want to add a shortcut to a toolbar that opens a file folder. Searched the forum and couldn't see anything.
Want to have an icon on one of the toolbars that opens my Downloads folder.

Go into Customize mode (Settings > Customize Toolbars), then drag the folder to your toolbar, then click OK in the Customize window.
That's a great tip! Is there any way to change the icon or text for the shortcut?
Yes, you can do that. The buttons it creates are like all the other buttons; they can be edited to change how they look or what they do.
