Folder-specific Folder Tree settings

Mostly, I'm glad to have Directory Opus open with the Folder Tree on the left and a lister on the right. But I have one folder that I want to open differently - with no Folder Tree and Directory Opus as a very small window. How can I get that result? With Windows Explorer and XP, it remembered these settings. When my shortcut opened WE pointing to this special folder, WE opened just as I described. That's not the case under Windows 7. Apparently Windows 7 doesn't remember folder-specific settings, neither the window size nor whether the Folder Tree pane is shown or not. I'm hoping that Directory Opus will. I can imagine several ways to do this.

a) Remember the window size and display configuration with which a folder is last viewed. (The old XP way.)
b) Have command-line arguments so that I can create a shortcut that will open DO at a certain folder displayed a certain way. Possible?
c) Have folder-specific configuration settings inside DO. (Nasty.)

However done, how can I open DO showing my small folder small without the Folder Tree and other folders normally?

Thanks,
Steve

You can do this by saving a Lister Layout, and then making a shortcut to that layout (rather than using the shortcut to the folder itself).

See the section in the manual on Layouts to get started: gpsoft.com.au/help/opus10/de ... youts1.htm

Perfect! I'm back in business, and a happy camper. Case closed.
