Folder tab drag & drop - Option to Ctrl-drag & drop

Two feature requests regarding folder tab drag & drop in mixed-DPI situations:

  1. Option to Ctrl-click when dragging to create a copy on the desktop
  2. Option to to return or copy the copy on the desktop back to its original lister.

This is in reference to Directory Opus 13.13.1 (Beta)
Fixes
Improved folder tab drag & drop in mixed-DPI situations.

TIA

Comments!?

Not sure I understood your idea... You want to be able to create a copy of the tab's folder on the desktop? Or create a link to the folder?

You can do both by dragging folders from the location bar. And drag links into the tab area to create new tabs.

If you drag a tab out of a lister on to the desktop, you get a new lister with only that tab in that new lister. In addition, that dragged tab is now longer a tab in the original lister.

The first request is to get the new lister but not lose that tab in the original lister by enabling ctrl-drag.

The second request, I now realize, is already available. You can drag the tab in the new lister back into the original list.

Comment on feature request, please.

Maybe. More likely if you are patient and don't bug us when it's only been a day.
