Continuing the discussion from Directory Opus 13.13:

Folder Tab Drag & Drop

• You can now drag folder tabs out of the tab bar to create new windows for them (like in a web browser), without having to drag them to the Windows desktop.
• When dragging a folder tab out to open it as a new window, the drag thumbnail now scales with DPI.
• Fix for titlebar flashing when dragging folder tabs in a dual-display window when Move top-row toolbars into the window title bar" is on.

I think this new behaviour is a little broken / incompatible with topmost software. As soon as I grab the tab, it suggests creating a new window for it. It's no longer possible to simply move the tab inside the same window (only by returning it back from the new lister, after it was created).

The reason for that was a running WindowTop. DOpus probably got confused with its' topmost or invisible window. Could this new drag&drop behaviour be disabled?

Can you link to the tool causing problems? (There seem to be a few on Google with the same name.)

Which window is actually on-top above the lister? Or does that tool mean there is always something (there but not visible) covering the whole desktop?

I think WindowTop's window is used to draw the frames around other topmost windows, when there are ones.

Sorry for bumping the thread but I've had this issue forever. I can never drag tabs between listers or even up/down in my vertical tab list, it becomes a new window. I thought it could be displayfusion or powertoys, but after disabling them and restarting the behaviour is the same. Version is 13.25.3 currently.
