I've two DOpus installed. One on my laptop and one on my desktop. On the first installation, I don't have any problem.
However, on my second installation, the Folder Tree was constantly refreshing. It refreshed every 2 seconds causing unwanted CPU usage and slowing down file transferts drasticly.
I'm using the same configuration for both computers so I thought it might be a conflict with another software. I tried to close one by one every softwares and the problem stopped when I killed AnyDVD (or disabled it). I'm glade I found the cause but I still want to use AnyDVD. So...
Does anyone have a solution/idea?
Is there any AnyDVD-DOpus-user who doesn't have this problem? (with which version of AnyDVD?)
Thanks for your help.
Config:
Windows XP SP2
DOpus 9.0.0.1
AnyDVD 5.8.2.1
Noddy (or anyone else using AnyDVD), do you see any problems like gl0rfindel was having before reinstalling AnyDVD, or can we safely ignore this issue and chalk it up to an anomaly on gl0rfindel's PC that's now solved?
I think AnyDVD is a cool program (and regional encoding and unskippable sections of video would be illegal if our governments gave a damn about people rather than corporations (WTF happens to my region 2 DVD collection if I move overseas?!)), so if there is a conflict between AnyDVD and Opus it's worth resolving and I'll install AnyDVD and try to reproduce it here as well.

I've used AnyDVD with DOpus for quite awhile now. Right now I'm running DOpus 9.0.0.1 and AnyDVD 6.0.7.0 (not the newest, but quite a bit newer than yours). I haven't been having any problems.
I don't want to accuse anyone of pirating AnyDVD, but in cording to the AnyDVD change log 5.8.2.1 is about 16 months old (AKA like 500 days).
But since it's got a lifetime license and is a 1445 kB download it might be about time to upgrade, 'specially if you've found that it's causing you problems.
