Folder Tree: scroll hoizantally to follow selection

Sometimes when clicking on the folder tree, I can't see the full name of the
selected folder, and sometimes that folders' children are not even visible.
Is there a way to make the tree scroll to the right, if children are not visible,
then back to the left as I navigate backwards?

Sounds like the tree is locked. Click on the padlock icon next to the tree's close button to unlock it.

After unlocking it, use Settings -> Set as Default Lister to make it stay unlocked by default.

It wasn't locked. Though I did notice that if I click the lock icon (locking it) then click it again (unlocking it), the tree then centers on the currently selected folder, but if I click around, the problem is still there.
Any ideas?

Hmm... Could you show a screenshot of when the tree isn't scrolling and you think it should? Maybe I've misunderstood what's happening.

(You can attach PNG, GIF or JPG images to posts here. No need to upload them to an image hosting service etc., just click the Post Reply button under the thread.)

All navigation was done with the arrow keys. Mouse clicking has the same effect, except that I can't navigate to folders that aren't visible.
(I just remembered I had a way to build animated GIFs -- feel free to delete my previous post with the huge picture)

Is there no answer, or did I ask a stupid question?

Sorry for not replying earlier.

I confirm what you're seeing & have added it to the to-do list.
