FOLDERCONTENT merge 2 folders as 1 folder?

Is this doable?

I have content stored in Folder A on one partition as well as in Folder B on another partition, but they share similar purposes.

There are two folders, but I'd like FOLDERCONTENT to treat them as one folder. Since they serve similar purpose, for better overview, it would be better if I could see both contents merged alphabetically in a single menu, instead of one underneath the other.

I thought of making one shortcut for each and putting them in the same folder, but FOLDERCONTENT treats the two shortcuts as two different folders/submenus instead of merging them. Perhaps if there is a way to tell GO FOLDERCONTENT to start reading one level inside starting folder? Or perhaps some operation with symlinks?

Thank you.
