I am using the latest DOpus version and I have a small problem. I generally like dark backgrounds and light font colors in my listers. That's OK with normal folders, but in virtual folders like My Computer, Desktop or WinMobile, when I select the List Mode, DOPUS ignores my font color and shows all filenames in black, so I can hardly read anything.
Is there a seperate setting for such special folders or is it a bug?
Those folders are displayed by Explorer and either Opus isn't telling it which font colours to use or there's no way for Opus to tell it (I'm not sure which).
You can prevent the Opus background colours/images from being used in Explorer-provided places by turning off Preferences / Display / Options: Enable background images in virtual folders; then everything in those folders will look the same as in Explorer.
Thank you very much for your answer. I have thought about this possibility too and made an experiment.
I changed the font in Explorer to CorpoS and the font in DOpus to Tahoma. So if DOpus uses Explorer's settings for fonts, it should display the fonts with CorpoS, right? Nope, it still uses the font face that I chose in DOpus settings, but uses black as the color.
So I guess this is a bug. How can I report this to DOpus crew?
You might be right. (Unless Explorer provides a way for Opus to set the font but not the colour. I don't know which is true, but it doens't hurt to ask GPSoft for a definitive answer.) The support page is here:
