I don't think there's a way to do this at the moment.
Do FTP sites report the owner names as standard? I can't remember. I guess it should be possible with SSH sites since any shell command can be run with them.
ok, yes I think a standard ftp can do that (but I dont have read the full ftp RFC's .
If I use the ftp command in a dos prompt (WinXP) and I type "dir" I get complete attributes, UID, GID, size and filename.
Maybe I can add a feature request somewhere
This would be a great improvement for me. With this I can easily recognise user nobody files generated by a webserver, and use the power of diropus to administer them
