FTP site in favourites doesn't use custom settings

I have an ftp site in my address book with custom ASCII transfer type set (rather than use the default).

I've added the site to my favourites, but when I access the site through my favourites it doesn't remember the custom settings.

It works fine through the ftp address book.

Is it supposed to remember the settings? Or is there a work around (other than not using it on my favourites!)

It may use the default site settings, as the favorite may just be a URL and not pointing to the site bookmark.

You could display the ftp bookmarks under the favorites if it's just a question of having everything in one menu. (Sites you don't use as often can be moved into a sub-menu so they don't clutter up the main one).
