FTP SSL Certificate

Hi,
I regularly connect to a FTP server using SSL. Each time I do Opus warns me about the certificate, and gives me a Yes, No or Cancel option when it queries the certificate.
I thought clicking Yes, updated the certificate, and from then on I would not get this dialog, however it does not seem to be updating the certificate, and it asks me every time. In fact some large transfers (around 1 gig) abort during the transfer with this dialog opening again. Once I click Yes it seems to resume the transfer without issue. This is inconvenient as I have to monitor the transfer the whole time.
Do you have any suggestions please? Perhaps running Opus as an Administrator?
Not sure how to fix this.
Regards, Steve Q. (Western Australia)

Is the “fingerprint” string in the dialog the same each time, or changing?

The dialog should only appear if the server’s certificate changes, which should not happen often.

Hey Leo,
Thanks so much for your prompt reply. I should have checked this before posting. Yes the fingerprint appears to be changing. I guess I'll have to contact the admin of the server to see what is going on.
Thanks for your help.

Hey Again Leo,
A quick question. If the certificate changes whilst a connection is established and a file transfer is taking place, will the connection be dropped, and hence the transfer aborted?
Thank you,
-SQ

It shouldn't as far as I know, but it's not something we test for or that should happen constantly like that, and doing that would usually mean the server was also restarted, which obviously would abort the transfer.

Thanks Leo,
Before I tell my client their server may have issues, I'll run some tests with FileZilla and see how it copes with it.
Thanks again for your help.
