Full Row selection stopped working in Details view (Power Mode, v13.23 x64)

Hello,

I have a strange problem with Directory Opus 13.23 x64 (Build 9478).

Previously, clicking anywhere on a file row (e.g. Size, Date Modified, Type) selected the file.

Now only clicking on the file name selects it.

If I click on the Date or Size column of another file:

  • the focus rectangle moves to that cell,
  • but the file itself is not selected.

My current settings are:

  • Directory Opus 13.23 x64 Build 9478
  • Power Mode enabled
  • File selection / highlighting style = Full row
  • Left mouse button = Auto-deselect
  • Right mouse button = Context menu
  • Single-click mode = Off

I have already tried:

  • Full row highlighting enabled
  • Hiding custom columns (GPS column)
  • Running Opus with /factory
  • Resetting folder formats
  • Exporting and checking preferences
  • No custom keyboard shortcuts related to selection
  • The problem occurs in all folders.

The status bar still reports one selected file, but clicking in columns other than Name only moves the focus rectangle.

Is there any setting that could cause this behaviour, or could this be a bug?

In Preferences, there are separate full-row options for Power and Details modes. Make sure the one for the mode you’re using is turned on.

If you’re not sure which mode you’re in, right-click the file display background and see what’s selected in the View menu.
