Getting back to several tabs opened after change of view

I often use several tabs opened parallel and I noticed a problem.

When I switch the view to "single" and then revert back to "dual" all the tabs are gone! I mean I still have one folder /tab open = the one that was worked on in the single mode.

Is it possible in DO not to lose such thing without creating tab groups or any other manual activity. Just to go back to the previous DO state...

I mean I know I can save listers layout and open it back - but what if i opened several tabs and didn't save them? Is it possible to get back to them?

One of the Styles must be set to close any extra folder tabs.

Right-click one of the Styles in the tabbar and choose Edit Styles..., then select each Style in turn and click the Tabs... button and ensure that Close existing Folder Tabs is switched off.
