GPU accelerated viewer displays blank window

Is it expected that in some configurations it will not work?
For me GPU accelerated does not work. Image viewer displays blank window.
It does work when "Accelerated rendering" is disabled in preferences.

Directory Opus 13.22.1 (Beta) Build 9436 x64
OS 6.1 (B:7601 P:2 T:1) SP 1.0 "Service Pack 1"

GPU is Intel HD Graphics 4400
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0A16&SUBSYS_181210CF&REV_0B
Version of driver is: 10.18.14.5117

Are the progress dialog copy speed graphs working OK on the same system? Those get drawn using the same Direct2D API by default.

(Check if Preferences / Miscellaneous / Advanced: [Compatibility] direct2d is set to Normal too.)

Within the viewer, does it work for small images/windows, or fail for everything? I'm wondering if the Intel iGPUs have size limits or similar that we're running into. That might explain why one thing works but the other doesn't, assuming that's the case.

Yes (just checked).
Preferences / Miscellaneous / Advanced: [Compatibility] direct2d is set to Normal.

It does work for some! Four files for now.
I do not know in what they differ from others. Picture with resolution 726x385 is displayed, picture with resolution 260x265 is not.
If needed I may send that that work and some that do not.

What about larger images?

No success with them.

Could you please try with the new beta. It will print some debugging information to the Diagnostic log in Opus if Direct2D errors occur - hopefully it will show what's going on.

Thanks, please give it another try with the new beta.

Note: This version will seemlessly drop back to the old viewer if the D2D viewer fails so if you want to confirm the D2D viewer is working, turn on the Checkerboard if possible option under Preferences / Colours and Fonts / Directory Opus Colours. The checkerboard will only be shown if the D2D viewer is being used.

The checkerboard is shown and no errors are logged to Diagnostic Output.txt.
And lastly all pictures are displayed too.
