Hard to grab the handles of selection rectangle

Continuing the discussion from Directory Opus 13.22.1 (Beta):

I love the new grab handles but the handles are hard to grab with the mouse cursor.

I think it's just that you're trying to put the middle of the hand cursor over the handles, when the "hot" pixel of the hand cursor is on the tallest finger tip, not the middle.

I.e. the hand cursor points to the tallest finger, not the centre of the palm.

Perhaps instead of using always a hand cursor, the classic arrow cursor should be used.

  • Normal arrow cursor by default
  • When I click/drag the image, a closed hand icon appears
  • When I hover over handles, a resize/move icon appears
