Hide drives in /mycomputer

Hi,

I have two drives/partitions on my laptop that I never want to see. I use this command get rid of them from my toolbar.

Go DRIVEBUTTONS=fixed,hideempty,-eg NEWTAB=findexisting

Can I get rid of them from /mycomputer?

Regards

Blueroly

If nothing is actually using the drives (while Windows is running), you could remove their drive letters.

If you need to keep the drive letters but just want to hide them from the Computer folder, there's a NoDrives registry value which you can set, although you'll need to turn off Preferences / Folders / Virtual Folders / Native display of 'Computer' in Opus for it to work there, since Opus's native view of the folder ignores the Explorer policy registry value (at least at the moment).

This is a works laptop so there's no chance of IT letting me edit the registry. Option 1 is good though, I've been granted admin rights to the Device Manager before when setting up my Opus USB Stick and other External Hard Drives so it shouldn't be a problem. AFAIK they is nothing using the drives but I'll soon find out.

Thanks Leo.
