Horizontal scrollbar page-scroll not working on Windows Downloads folder

When I open a lister for the Windows "Downloads" folder, the horizontal page-scroll functionality (i.e., clicking in the scrollbar gutter) of the lister's view of items is inoperative. Moving the thumb manually works, as does using the left and right arrow buttons.

Could you post a screenshot of what the folder looks like for you? That may reveal something.

(For me, it displays the same as any other folder, and the scrollbar works normally.)

You can drag or paste JPG, GIF and PNG screenshots directly into the forum's post editor.

More info: If I expand the lister window horizontally, it works. When I resize it back so that the next column of items is not visible, it doesn't work. Actually, I just tried it on various folders and the horizontal scrolling of columns does not work via clicking in the scrollbar gutter unless the next column of items is at least partially visible.

Has this behavior been confirmed? It is easily reproducible via the scenario I described above. Restated, simply resize a lister window so that only one column of items is in view. Then, clicking in the scrollbar gutter does not cause the window contents to scroll (but it should!).

No, we have not seen it ourselves or had any similar reports.

If you'd like to post the details I asked for above, we can try to reproduce it or see if anything in them suggests something that may be the cause or worth trying to fix things.

I'll wait and see if it behaves the same on my new PC build with a fresh install of Opus. It is currently afffecting all listers in list view when the window has only a single column of items in view.

Confirmed not working as expected. Fresh install of Windows and Opus 12 on new system. Clicking in horizontal scrollbar gutter does not scroll view when only a single column of items is in view. Sliding thumb works as expected, as do the scroll buttons on either side of the gutter. Folder doesn't matter (can be any folder, not just Downloads folder).

If you’d like to post the details I asked for in the first reply, we can try to reproduce it or see if anything in them suggests something that may be the cause or worth trying to fix things.

If you don't want to post those details then we can't do anything, since we don't have enough to go on and have not had any similar reports from any other people. If you want a solution, we're waiting on those details; please provide them. Bumping the thread won't help.
