... when you can simply try them out?
@lxp's post got me to think a little about old toolbars.
I'm kind of wondering about the old Styles field.
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<button backcol="none" display="label" field_type="style_tab" size="full" textcol="none">
<label>Styles:</label>
<tip>Displays a row of tabs enabling you to easily switch between Lister Styles</tip>
<function type="normal">
<instruction>Prefs STYLELIST</instruction>
</function>
</button>
Is this legacy now ?
It still works. I don't use it and probably won't in the future,
but I'm kind of wondering about the tab feature of the button.
Could this be extended in a more general way for other things ?
This is only a thought I had after reading @lxp's post.
Sorry if this distracts from the intent of the thread.
@lxp I give. What are in those 24 toolbars?
I relied on it heavily in the early days, but once I started customizing Opus I stopped using it completely.

Going off-topic is kinda the idea of the Off-Topic section
Half of the toolbars are stock, while the other half consists of my modified versions and temporary toolbars.
Alright, again lets play under the premise that I'm a complete moron. I just found this Off Topic forum and I''m having a nerd field day. I'm a @lxp fan boy, so I am looking at this wondering how he went and made another new toy to play with but I am just missing it here. I have been one to completely be unable to remember 98% of my shortcut keys, but what is this post doing? Those are files associated with each shortcut I'm assuming?"
Usually, my hotkeys are not overly dangerous, but in this case, I had assigned a Select all and rename to numbers command to a hotkey similar to a harmless toggle button.
Trying it out in the folder containing all my toolbars wasn't the best idea I ever had
