For button descriptions, I know can have multi-line descriptions using "\n" for a new line. But this does not seem to work with the {desc} File Type Info Tip definition.
Is it possible to show multi-line info tips for a file in the lister?

You just push return. The info-tip in your screenshot is already multi-line.
Sorry for the confusion. What I am seeking is to show the {desc} text which has "\n" embedded.
File descriptions don't support new lines, as far as I'm aware. They're designed to be shown in columns.
