How can I get FTP working with a HTTP proxy(DirOpus9.5.5.0)

Hi guys!

Before the company I'm working at switched to a HTTP proxy, FTP was working more or less with DirOpus (sometimes transfers were repeated more than once for some reason). With the new HTTP proxy, I can't connect to a FTP server at all. I tried nearly every setting.

With the current TotalCommander I can connect to every FTP server without any problems (setting "HTTP Proxy with FTP support" OR "HTTP CONNECT").

Do you know a trick, how this problem can be solved? Is it possible at all?

What a pity :frowning: no answers! Is this question to easy or is it just impossible to do FTP transfers via HTTP proxy?

When you think about it, doing FTP over an HTTP proxy is a pretty silly concept :slight_smile: But no, this is not currently supported - we are looking at it for the future, however.
