Hello all,
I am brand new to the wonders of Directory Opus. One of the things that I wanted to utilize is the supposed amazing search functionality but I cannot seem to activate it. When in a DO explorer screen I right click on a folder and select Search. I am brought to the default Windows Search functionality, which I thought was replaced by DO. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
Steve

Great thanks....one addtl question. Is there anyway to integrate the find functionality into Explorer, so when I right click on a folder that an option for Find would be present?
By Explorer I assume you mean an Opus Lister?
I personally prefer the Utility find panel for searching, to use that goto Tools/Find Panel or go into customize mode and create a button with the command of
Set UTILITY=Toggle
Buttons can be used all over the place including in right click menus. Also if you're new to Opus you might want to read the section here in the forum on toolbars and buttons at http://resource.dopus.com/viewforum.php?f=18.
Thanks for that but what I was actually speaking about is when in Windows Explorer and you right click you could pick Open in Directory Opus. Well is there any way to say add a Directory Opus Find on the particular folder I am on?
@spetrillo:
Did you tell DOpus to completely replace Explorer?
Go to Settings=>Preferences=>Start of Opus=>Explorer Replacement and choose "Replace Explorer for all Filesystem Folders (Recommended)"
That should do it for you.
I did but it seems that it didnt take for all Explorer stuff...thats part of my concern also.
