How to arrange icons on the left side?

How to arrange icons on the left side, like as desktop icons?

Edit the toolbar button and select from the Show label drop down so that the label is on the right.

I thought we were talking about toolbar icons, since this thread was originally in the Buttons & Toolbars forum before I moved it to Help & Support. If that's the case, just set the Large Image Size checkbox in the button editor.

If you mean icons in the file display, not the toolbar, then you can use the View menu (and a few other things) to set the window to show files using Large Icons, but they will always be arranged horizontally. (Same as in Explorer windows. Only the desktop itself has icons arranged vertically, for some reason.)
