How to change what displays in the second lister

Hi guys,

I have been trying to figure this out with no success.
If I double click on an desktop icon (Windows 10) and a lister opens up, how do I set what shows up in the right pane of that lister?
I've have a default lister set, and it works fine, I have tab groups and saved layouts but I can't for the life of me figure out who to set what folder opens in the right pane. (it keeps going to folder that doesn't exist anymore.)
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Alfred Alonso

The default lister is usually what decides which folder (if any) opens in the dual file display:

Startup folders has some more detail on how to make it always open a specific folder.

There's also Preferences / File Displays / Options / Specify initial folder when switching to dual file display but I'm not sure that would come into play in this situation.

This worked! Jeez, spent half an hour trying to figure this out.

Appreciate not only the quick response but the correct response!

Alfred
