How to clear filter history?

I have a couple of filters in the drop down history that I'd like to clear. I tried right clicking in the Filter field then Clear History, and also right clicking on the folder icon and then Clear History. Neither does the job. Both historical items are still present when I click the drop down.

The clear option is broken if the filter is in Files and Folders mode. You can clear it by deleting the history files, though (and could make a button to automate this):

Type /dopuslocaldata/State Data/MRU into the location field.

Delete filter_*.osd

You don't seem to need to restart for it to take effect.
