How to create program icon to use different drive letters

Hi,

I run DO from a USB stick, and i have a toolbar that has program icons for programs that are on my USB stick. I try to always mount the stick as the same drive letter, but it is not always possible. Is there a way to setup these programs on the toolbar to use whatever drive letter the USB stick happens to be using? I have a U3 stick and it mounts 2 drives, one as a CD and the other as a removable drive. It would have to use the letter of the removable drive.

Thanks

Refer to programs on the same drive as portable Opus should do the job.

It's just a matter of replacing the drive letter with the home alias.

that worked... thx.. however the icon vanishes if i replace g:\ with {alias|home|}

See this thread for help with the icons:

(Using an icon set is probably the best way.)

Only problem with that is the icon is in the file newsleecher.exe

I click on the icon button on top, and i have to point to the location of newsleecher.exe as there is no .ico file. It wont let me put in icons/newsleecher.exe as an option

Using an icon set might be ok if i actually had ICO files to begin with instead of an exe file.

There are a lot of (freeware) utility's to extract Icons from exe / dll etc.
For example: nirsoft.net/utils/iconsext.html

Found another freeware (beta) utility that might be useful: ICL Builder: eng.softq.org/icl_builder
