How to fix " Error in search pattern: Nested *?+ supplied" in rename

first of all, here is the screenshot

In the Preview list, the new name looks fine for me. but when I click on apply then this error appears.
Error in search pattern: Nested *?+ supplied.

Change it from Regular Expressions back to Standard Wildcard Rename.
