This never happened in v12. Almost every time I toggle to open the "Folder Tree", the Quick Access section is twirled closed, and I have to click on the arrow to expand it. What can I do to so it's always expanded when I open the Folder Tree?
Note: Usually, it will stay open as I use Opus, but if I close opus for about 10 minutes, and come back to work, this happens.
That seems like a good idea, but it says "and open folders", which I don't want to set the open folders to open each time I open Opus. Currently, a new lister opens to the folders I recently had open. Any idea how to do your suggestion while keeping that?
Didn't work. I restarted my computer (as I do every Saturday) and opened Opus, clicked on my Folder Tree button (Set TREE=Toggle) and the Quick Access is twirled closed.
@skinz The lock becomes unlocked each time toggle the Folder Tree open.
@lxp Done. I will use Opus for a while and update if it helped. By the way, I had to create a button to run that code, and then removed the button. I don't know how to run code without an object. When I open the CLI window, it contains an existing code of my toggle button, and I don't know it clearing it would remove my code from opus.
Add Set TREELOCK=On to the button you're using to toggle the tree.
(It'll also be remembered by the default lister and layouts, if you save them while the tree is on and locked. But if you save them when the tree is off, the lock state will also reset to off.)
None of the above worked. I was opening and closing Opus all day, and I just now toggled the Folder Tree, and the Quick Access is twirled closed. (and the lock is still locked.) Any other suggestions? This never happened with v12.
Ok, pinning it is the only thing that won't allow me to twirl it closed, which is a good sign. As always, I will have to use Opus for a while, and test it. Thanks, this sounds promising!
Nope, didn't work. I've closed Opus a few times, and it was working, but I just opened it now, clicked on Folder Tree, and the Quick access is twirled closed, and it was unpinned! So stubborn!
Great suggestions, but unfortunately, not our solution. I've already done save lister default before.
My run from desktop is disabled. I use Stardock Fences, and have double-clicking the desktop set to toggle the icons on the desktop. I open Opus by double-clicking its icon in the system tray of the taskbar.
