The metadata panel currently has this function:
Set METAPANE=Toggle
How do I set it to open on the right side of my current lister?
You can either:
- Put it there manually, then use Settings > Set Lister Defaults (Set As Default Lister in toolbars made before Opus 13) to save that position as the default (if you are using other layouts/styles then those may also need to be updated)
Or:
- Change the button to
Set METAPANE=Toggle,Vert

On my wife's computer, the Viewer Pane & Metadata Pane are at the bottom, when we would like those to be at the right. The Lister buttons 2,3,4 are selected. When clicking buttons 3 and 4, they only toggle ON and OFF the Meta & Viewer Panes.
In the above description, it says:
Change the button to "Set METAPANE=Toggle,Vert"
which should resolve my concern. But HOW do I get to the Buttons (since they only toggle)? and HOW to set it to CHANGE the button to what is above,
i.e. the "Set METAPANE=Toggle,Vert"? And do I need to do same for the Viewer Pane?
Ah Never Mind...I think I found it. Those 2 little bars in the panes allowed me to toggle between vertical and horizontal...those 2 bars were well hidden.
Settings - Customize Toolbars and Keys...(v12 Customize Toolbars) - double-click the "Metadata Pane Button" and change the command. Same for the Viewer Pane Button.
