How to save & transfer all customization between different computers?

I can't quite figure out how to exactly replicate my current set up (theme, customizations, preferences, etc.) from one computer to another, along with saving the file in my backups.

I am using version 13.17, but can't find specific step-by-step instructions.
I've used Settings > Backup and Restore, but it didn't give me a 1:1 replication. I am not sure what I'm failing with.

I have viewed the post below, but with it being 16 years old, I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything and that it is indeed current with 13.17 (as of this post).

Still via Settings > Backup and Restore, the same as always.

The main thing was the options and positions I had for the toolbars.
I should be able to go to Settings > Backup and Restore and create a save file and move it between computers and apply it and it should be 1:1 in terms of what I have chosen and all that? I just want to make sure my steps are correct.

Did you check Replace existing configuration completely?

Those should be saved and restored, assuming you choose to backup and replace everything.

Beyond that, more detail on what went wrong is needed.
