How to search for 'a couple of words'

I tried with "
Tried with just '
tried with out either one of them
in the 'advanced search' panel I don't see something like an exact search, or so.

How am I to perform a search on multiple words?

Thanks

In the Advanced search panel there's (under the Clear button) a Plus symbol with which you can add a filter clause.
Add 2 clauses and you can search on 2 different things. Choose the right operator (AND or OR).

Is this about Opus or the forum?

Thanks for commenting.
@amorax: up front, sorry.. probably I am overlooking something, but eh .. 'Clear button' ? Where?
@leo : yes, Opus.

that aside, also I am not sure where to find some kind of manual and/or Help on Discourse, so I would have tried to find the answer myself first. I think the Advanced Search panel should include some tips.

I know, I might use Google site search,like: site:resource.dopus.com "delete a post" OR "deletes a post"
but I need to launch a separate browser tab/session for it, search and open threads in that separate session, etc. keeping in mind the support forum is still open in another existing open browser tab.

This seems to be about the forum, not Opus :slight_smile:

You don't need quotes or special syntax to search for multiple words, just type them in. As long as results are sorted by relevance the exact matches should be at the top of the results.

Oops yes the forum :blush::blush:
Sorry for the confusion.

What I initially meant to say is to find an exact match of a few words.

Often forums offer a match by relevance indeed.
One gets a variety of other threads on top. Regretfully in many cases even the 'Advanced Search'-options do not offer something like 'Exact'.

Maybe you cud give it a try and do a search on
delete a post
and notice quite a few hits as a result.

If 'Exact' would be offered as an option, then, probably the hits will be limited to just a few threads.
(similarly to the Google search)

Anyway, thanks for your comments and sorry again for the confusion.
