in my lister i always set to sort by extension first then name. when i want to find file. i type few characters, my problem is how i want to select the next file with the same name but different file type. i already try all combination alt, ctrl, shift + arrow but no luck. searching this forum also no luck. thx
Turn off Preferences - Lister Display Modes - Details Mode: Sort-field specific key scrolling (and the same for Power Mode if you use that).
That will mean that the Name field is always used when you type letters to jump to files.
Maybe you already had that set.
Now, when you type some characters to find the first match, press F3 to find the next match.
