Image preivew and File tree list sorting issue

1、Image preivew size error

The image preview is in landscape orientation, but the dimensions are displayed in portrait orientation. The dimension reading did not take the image's Exif rotation information into account.

2、File tree list lorting

I am not sure if this is a setting or a bug. The tree list is not sorted according to Windows rules, but when entering a folder individually, the sorting is correct.

My version:
Directory Opus 13.11 Build 9081 x64
OS 10.0 (B:22621 P:2 T:1) SP 0.0

For 1, please provide an example file with the problem, abd put it in a zip file so the forum doesn’t modify it.

For 2, you don’t seem to be sorting by name on the left, but some other column.

000007.7z (4.2 MB)
Here is the example file.

Yeah, click the header sort very well.
thanks!

It's because those are the image's real dimensions, and the image has an EXIF rotation tag set to 270 degrees.

Maybe we should transpose the dimensions if EXIF rotation is enabled in Preferences, although anything to do with EXIF rotation is always a can of worms that will cause problems for someone else if we change it.

I've made a note to look at it in more detail when time permits.

Thank you for the explanation!

I agree that this needs careful consideration before making any adjustments. Looking forward to any further insights or potential solutions you come up with. Let me know if there's anything I can assist with!
