Images standard Toolbar appears when I select the Pictures folder

Why does this happen?
When I select the Pictures tab I get the images standard toolbar appear:

Any other tab it is not:

I would expect this to happen if the Images Content type was ticked but this is not:

What am I missing?

Solved.
the Images standard toolbar came on only when view mode was set to thumbnails.
Prefs >> Toolbars >> View Mode Toolbars
Sorted.

I can't remeber where but I think there is a setting that automatically switches to thumbnails view when entering a folder with lots of image (can't remeber neither if it's the number or ratio of image files).
