Include external icons in config backups

When I backup the configuration of my desktop it has icons for buttons that are not in Opus standard locations. Then when restoring it to my laptop I get missing icons for my buttons. I understand why this happens; it is simply there is no icon found at the path the buttons look for. I would like to know are there any workarounds for this? If it is my responsibility to update the buttons and icons that totally makes sense. However, I did not just want to assume this because Opus always surprises me. Is there any way to copy icons with the backup? Thanks

You can put the icons in the User Data file in your Opus config folder. They will then be included in backups.

Super! Thanks so much

From the original where everything matches up do I have to manually make our directories point to the config folder? To be clear, I am wondering if there is any way to tell Opus to change all of its icon directories and copy them there. However, I know what I am asking is a stretch... ? Thanks

You'll have to edit the paths. You could use search & replace on the config files in the /buttons folder if there are a lot of them.

(If there are that many, and it's toolbar icons, you may also want to consider making an icon set, as they load faster than lots of individual icon files.)

Super as always. Thank You
