Those formats should normally display the cover page as their thumbnails. (I.e. the first image inside the archive.)
thanks for your fast answer.
in thumbnail-view they will me shown correctly...:
I think of the Info-Tip in details-view...:
You need to edit the Info Tips for those file types to add the thumbnail to them. It's not included by default for most file types other than images.
{name}{thumbnail}
<b>Type:</b>\ {type}
<b>Modified:</b>\ {modified}
<b>Size:</b>\ {sizeauto}
{thumbnail}
is the important part, but you probably want the other stuff too.
one short question afterwards... to define a special size other than {sizeauto}, how would I spell that?
What is meant by “special size”?
as I see {sizeauto} I assume, that I could define a certain size in the definition like for example 320x256 - just for that Info Tip definition ...
Take a look at this section of the manual, especially the part where thumbnails are described.
Hi Leo,
Is a specific type of file reader required to make this work?
On my end even adding the Info Tip doesn't seem to change the thumbnail to show the first image of the archive.
If there's any other settings I may have missed, please advise. Thank you for your help.
Edit: Disregard the above. Was an issue with YACreader. Installing CDisplayEx and thumbnail generator resolved the issue. Thanks.
