Inline rename help please

According to 8.1.0.6 changelog:

If filename extensions are hidden in Lister, inline rename no longer fails to select the text after a '.' in the filename (e.g., test.one.txt -> .txt would be hidden, in inline rename, previously only 'test' would have been selected automatically).

How do I get this to work ?? I still see test and not test.one.txt when I press F2. Do I have to set it in prefs somewhere ????

You've definitely installed 8.1.0.6? It works fine for me.

File called test.one.txt, I only see test.one in the file list, and when I press F2 all of "test.one" is selected as it should be.
