Installing of updates and multiple user accounts

After recent installation of update (from 13.12.3 to 13.12.4) I was prompted to restart computer.
I had DOpus running in current user session, in other session DOpus was not running, was not even launched at any point. But dopusrt.exe was running in the other session.
Seems like it was only reason of the prompt to restart.

Installer of DOpus runs elevated. Could not it terminate dopusrt.exe running in other session(s) or dopus.exe running in other session(s)?

Processes in one session can't communicate with processes in another session.

Hmmm...
If I double click on .torrent file it is opened by BitTorrent program running in other session.
Besides elevated process can terminate process running in other session.
