Internal sound player question

A customer in the german forum says, that the internal player stops playing after the first file. Since i rarely use it, i don't know, if
the behavior was different in older versions. In fact, when i load a bunch of short wav files files to test, if they are played consecutively,
i find that two sounds are played at the same time, while the rest of the test play list is dropped. Any ideas?

If I select three .wav or .mp3 files and run the Play command on them, they are played one after the other in the same window.

How are they invoking the player?

Which file types are involved?

That's strange. It doesn't work that way on my system.

I have like a dozen files selected, & open them by clicking on the whole selection. In a recent test i had two of them played simultaniously, plus one
being payed from the end of the selection. I would expect the first files to be played, but rather the last files are used. Also, even though i have the
option set to close the window after playing, it stays open.

I tested it with short wav files, so far.

Also, even though i have the
option set to close the window after playing, it stays open.

Ok, forget this one, i couldn't reproduce that.
