In the advanced find mode, I have a list of saved filters for frequent custom searches. I no longer use some of them or renamed them and would like to clear out the ones I don't use to reduce clutter. I don't see an option to delete filters though. Is it possible?
Preferences / File Operations / Filters.
Also, in the Preferences dialog... get familiar with the 'Filter' field in the lower left corner of the window. It lets you 'filter' the prefs settings that are actually displayed based on what you type into the field followed by hitting . Using that with the word 'filters' filters the view to only one result - that being the location that Jon mentions above...
Thanks guys. I do use the filter field in the preference dialog window regularly. I think because there were options to save the filter presets directly in the find window, I was just focusing on looking for the options to edit them in the same place. It didn't register in my mind to also be able to modify them from the preferences dialog, although it should have in retrospect.
