Is it possible to hide the vertical or horizontal scroll bar in the file display or folder tree?

I read that it's not possible to shrink it, but is it possible to hide it?

You can turn off the Tree's horizontal scrollbar in Preferences / Folder Tree / Options (Horizontal scrolling style).

The others can't be turned off, other than by avoiding having that many files / columns that they're needed.
