Is it possible to inverse regex filter?

Have set a regex filter. Now I would like files that do -not- match that filter.
Is that possible - if so, how?

Thanks.

Can be done using regex's negative lookahead asserts for the general case, but there's often an easier way to invert a pattern, depending on what the pattern is.

You could rewrite the filter with the evaluator and invert the result.

So

^2

would turn into

=!RegExS(name, "^2")

First of all: sorry for the late reply. One way or the other I didn't receive a notification.

Thanks for the replies.

Have been busy myself trying to get the right regex that may match lines -not- containing date, or date-time.
It may read something like: ^(?!.*(?:\d{2}-?\d{2}-?\d{4})(?: \d{6})?\.[^.]+$).+

However, probably this is not supported by Opus filter, so I gave up and let it rest.

Thanks again.

The regex appears to work correctly.

Still, a flag such as Set QUICKFILTERFLAGS=inverton to easily invert an existing filter would be a useful feature.
