Is it possible to see Quick Access in the sidebar (aka folder tree)?

In Windows Explorer, when you add a file or folder to quick access, it shows up in the left sidebar. I can't seem to figure out how to do this in Dopus?

I would prefer to use quick access over favourites as Dopus is not capable of replacing open/save dialogs and therefore I will still need to rely on Windows Explorer's quick access pins to quickly get into my most used folders.

If this is not possible, are there any plans to change that? I am trialing Dopus at the moment but without this ability, I'd probably have to stick to Windows Explorer.

It should already be there by default.

If it's turned off for some reason, you can turn it back on under Preferences / Folder Tree / Contents. ("Quick Access" in Win10, and "Home" in more recent versions of Win11, as Microsoft renamed it.)

:man_facepalming: Figured it out... Perhaps it'd be worth adding that to the docs. I didn't know that change had occured so I was still trying to search specifically for "Quick access"...

Can't think where it would fit into the Opus docs. "Quick Access" / "Home" is a Windows feature, and Microsoft could (and probably will, given their history of weird incompetence) rename it again on a whim in a month.

Opus gets the name of the folder from the operating system.

Perhaps you could make a simple note in the folder tree selection of the documentation. Also I don't think the 'quick access' name is fully done with as I realised that I probably still call it that because the context menu still has a 'pin to quick access' option.

Regardless, hopefully anyone else who is confused will be able to find this thread now.

Microsoft have made it quite confusing.

When the feature first launched it was called "Quick Access".

Now the folder is called "Home", and within it is a section called "Quick Access".

So "Pin to Quick Access" is still accurate, it just pins it to the "Quick Access" section in the "Home" folder rather than to the "Quick Access" folder itself.
