Is there a way to make an ad hoc group in an evaluator group scheme?

I have the following evaluator group scheme that groups on the Name column:

I found the definition on the forum and was able to modify it to my liking. I'm wondering if there's a way to allow for an ad hoc group?

For example, could I add something like "In progress" as a user description or tag to several files and have that show up as its own group with this scheme?

Or could I define a label like "Ad hoc group," apply it to several files, and have that show up as it's own group?

Edit: If it's possible, it seems like it should be fairly simple. But I couldn't see how to do it.

Figured it out. The following evaluator group scheme that groups on the Tags column does it:
