I have a single folder that has A LOT of files in it. (Over 2700 files and sub-directories. Yes I realize it would be better if I sorted that out, but that's not really an option right now for complicated reasons.) I normally have the sort order to display newest files first, but this actually shows newest directories grouped then newest files. Let's say I want to see the 10 most recently added things in this folder, either directories or files. I need them intermingled to do this, and as far as I have seen that isn't an option. Also, scrolling past all the sub-dirs to get to the files is a bit of a pain.
Accordingly, I'd like an option to intermix files and folders, or else to split the window into two panes to manage sub-dirs in one and files in the other. Or as a minimial quick feature, a way to quickly skip past all the sub-dirs and get to the section where the files start.
