Hello everyone ,
I am writing to report an issue I am experiencing with Directory Opus on my system.
System Details:
- Operating System: Windows 11 (Version 24H2)
- Antivirus Software: Kaspersky
- Directory Opus Version: [Directory Opus 13.14 Build 9215 x64
OS 10.0 (B:26100 P:2 T:1) SP 0.0] - Configuration: Directory Opus is set as the default file manager, replacing Windows Explorer.
Issue Description:
Since day 1 when i purchased a pro version of the software , whenever I attempt to open specific folders ( containing pdf file with large thumbnail view ) using Directory Opus, the application crashes unexpectedly. This happens consistently and prevents me from accessing those folders. I have tried restarting the application and my system, but the issue persists. very frustrating situation !!
i already did :
- Verified that both Windows 11 and Directory Opus are updated to their latest versions.
- Temporarily disabled Kaspersky to check for conflicts, but the issue remains unresolved.
- Checked the problematic folders for corrupted files or unusual file formats, but found nothing abnormal.
- I could not find any crach files report
- I noticed that the crash happened particularly when the thumbnail preview mode was set to large ( what should i set in the parameters to fix the issus , if the solution is there )
Given that Directory Opus is a critical tool for my workflow, I would greatly appreciate your assistance in identifying and resolving this issue. If you require additional information or logs, please let me know how I can provide them to you.
Thank you in advance for your support, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
