Issue with Empty Dropdown Menus in Directory Opus 13 on Windows 11

I am writing to report an issue I am encountering with Directory Opus 13 (stable 13.10 and 13.10.3 Beta) on my Windows 11 system.
Specifically, I am experiencing problems with dropdown menus displaying no values or being completely empty. This occurs in several areas of the application, such as:

            1. The FTP connection settings dropdown, where I am unable to select or view available options.
            2. The image conversion/scaling dialog, where dropdown menus (e.g., for selecting image formats or scaling presets) are also blank.

I have already attempted the following troubleshooting steps without success:

            • Updating to the latest version of Directory Opus.
            • Modifying display settings, including DPI scaling and theme adjustments (Dark Mode and Light Mode).
            • Ensuring that all Windows 11 updates and Visual C++ Redistributables are up to date.
            • Running Directory Opus in compatibility mode for older versions of Windows.

Are you on an ARM machine?

Hi @Leo
Yes, i'm running Windows 11 with Parallels on a Mac (M1), Apple Silicon 64 and yes, it's a x64 ARM Architecture. Except for the empty dropdown and a little confused dark mode, DOpus runs perfectly and performs very well.

It's a deficiency in Microsoft's x64 to ARM translation layer. In time we plan to make a native ARM build which we expect will fix it, but we need to finish some other work first (and get hold of some ARM hardware to test with, where the options at the moment aren't great).

Thank you for your reply, which I can understand very well.
I thank you already for your great work and further development steps. It would certainly not only please me if the product was also supported natively on an ARM platform. The virtualization layer enables many efficient approaches to increase productivity  Among other things, Paralles helps to unite the “almost” seamless integration of both worlds (Mac and Windows). All the best for the further development and I am already looking forward to further announcements.
Best regards, Dani

Hey Leo and Jon
IT's WORKING! Since actual Version 13.15.1 the ARM-Fix did the great job! Thank you very much bringing this fix. This is a absolutly new world! You're the best
